You can use lemons and lemon juice for many beauty purposes:

Soften your skin: Combine lemon zest with sugar and soak the mixture with olive oil for 30 minutes for a homemade body scrub. Add extra to dry spots like your elbows, knees and heels for softer skin.

Freshen bad breath: Gargle with lemon juice and water to kill odor-causing bacteria or simply suck on a lemon wedge.

Add suuny highlights: Mix lemon juice with your favorite conditioner and apply to damp hair. Sit in the sun for a while to get natural highlights.

Whiten yellow nails: Soak your fingers in lemon juice for 5 minutes. To prevent stains in the future, make sure you use a clear base coat before applying polish.

Zap zits: Lemon juice will help to eliminate black heads.

Facial toner: Lemon juice is a natural astringent, Apply to a cotton ball and use in place of your usual toner (probably a lot cheaper!).

DIY deoderant: If you ever find that you’re stuck without deoderant, the citric acid in lemon juice will help kill odor-causing bacteria.

clarifying hair treatment:Rinsing your hair withlemon juice is a natural way to cleanse product build-up. Mix one part water, one part lemon juice, pour over your hair and let it sit for a minute before rinsing.

Hyperpigmentation fader: Lemon juice is a legendary folk remedy for freckles and age spots. Apply it with a cotton ball to lighten brown spots over the course of a few weeks.

Dandruff treatment: While lemon juice won’t prevent dandruff, it is great at removing existing flakes. Massage into your scalp, leave on for 10 minutes then shampoo as usual.
