Safety Tips For Girls

Tips for Single Girls

If a stranger tells you that there is an emergency or that a family member is hurt or that a pet has been in an accident, always check with your mom or dad or other trusted adults. This is a common trick used by many molesters or kidnappers.

Stick with what you know, especially in the beginning of the semester. If you never had Tequila, don't have a power hour with it before you go out. If you want to try something new, have a sip, or try it on a off night. Remember there are a lot of shady dudes out there, so don't make it easy for them.

Never let your attention wander. Remain focused and attentive. Bags placed casually at your feet or on a baggage cart while you are talking on the telephone, are a quick and easy target.

  • Tip from Tae Kwon Do: The elbow is the strongest point on your body. If you are close enough to use it, do it!
  • If a robber asks for your handbag, do not hand it to him. Toss it away from you.... he is probably more interested in your handbag than you and he will go for the handbag. You may like to take to your heels immediately after tossing out the handbag.
  • If you are ever thrown into the boot of a car: Kick out the back tail lights and stick your arm through the hole and start waving. The driver won't see you but everybody else will. This has saved lives.
